Save configuration file, per example in the case of an update installation :

You can save your configuration file "Acad_22_Default.cfg" in "GMproperties".
Move the file to a safe location on your hard disk.
Install the update.
Copy the saved "Acad_22_Default.cfg" to the "GeniusMechaniCS 2007/data" folder.

Problems during installation

In some operating system configurations (usually Windows XP) some files are installed as read-only when installing from the CD.
Particularly "std.mcs" and ".cfg" files are concerned.
This may disable some functions of GeniusMechaniCS AutoCAD.
If this error occurs on your system, you will have to copy the whole content of the installation CD to your hard disk.
Start the installation manually from this local folder (...\GMCS2007\Setup.exe).Choose the "Update" option to correct the installation error.

RegWizard - no license file

In case you requestet registration with RegWizard (online, eMail, Fax) and no license file arrived (max. 1 hour), please contact us via e-mail GeniusMechaniCS and/or your dealer. Please include the GeniusMechniCS AutoCAD serial number that you used for the installation.

When opening a GMCS .dwg file in AutoCAD, the foollowing dialog will appear:



With this settings all GMCS standard parts can be viewed and printed.
